The Monahan Era Is Dead — Long Live MY Era

Let’s get one thing straight—Phil “Nitro” Monahan’s resignation isn’t some tragic loss for CIW. It’s a blessing. A cancer has been cut out. The so-called “Monahan Crime Syndicate” is finished, and this company will no longer be run by petty vendettas, favoritism, and the old boys’ club politics that Nitro thrived on.

I’m not here to play nice, I’m here to take control. And to those in the back who think they can whisper, plot, or scheme like the Monahan days—save your breath. You either get in line or you get run over.

Chris Carter—don’t get too comfortable. I’m not here to rubber-stamp your safe little decisions. I’ll make the calls you’ve been too scared to make. You may have survived Nitro, but I’m a whole different problem.

Now, let’s talk about September 14th at “We Ain’t Done Yet” in the Skyway Recreation Center in Oregon, OH:

David Light—you’re done. No more handouts, no more “one more chance” garbage. Dustin Divine has embarrassed you twice already, and now he’s moving on. His next target? Monahan’s long-time buddy and enabler, Malice. Dustin Divine is going to humiliate him, and I’m going to enjoy every second of it.

Ashton Adonis—your title defense will not be against Nitro’s chosen golden boy Ren Jones. Instead, you’ll face Calvin CoCo, who can finally stop hiding in a tag team and show if he has the guts to stand on his own.

CoCo’s partner, Josh Morris, won’t be anywhere near to help him—he’ll be busy getting knocked around by Erik Surge.

And Ren Jones—you wanted to play politics? Too bad for you, I’m the one holding the deck now. You’re stepping into the ring with Zeeko, one of the toughest men walking the planet. And no, I don’t expect you to survive.

September 14th isn’t just another show—it’s my official arrival. It’s the day everyone in CIW realizes that I run this company now, and I run it my way. The days of hiding behind alliances and personal favors are over.
